About Urban Sites Connect

Urban Sites Connect is an open, interactive online community where educators from NWP's urban sites, and educators of culturally and linguistically diverse students more generally, can share ideas and practices connected to the teaching of writing and the work of the National Writing Project. In particular, this community supports the Annual USN Conference, traditionally held late April.

Urban Sites Connect aims to provide space for professional and civil discussion of topics and issues related to its key concerns. We urge all members to assist in maintaining the highest standards of respectful, open-minded, and inquiry-oriented discussion.
