For over 35 years, the South Coast Writing Project has used writing to create opportunities for youth, family, and community to come together. We offer a wide array of programs that celebrate writing and the ways it reflects culture, individuality, and learning. Click on any link on the page to find out more.

Young Writer's Camp 2013

Registration materials for the Young Writer's Camp 2013 are available now! The half-day camps for students are offered July 15th - 26th at UCSB, grades 3-9 and at Cal-Lutheran University, grades 4-9. Half-day camps are also offered July 15th - August 1st at Oxnard College, grades 4-9 and Ventura College, grades 5-9. Camp cost is $285. Applications are due by May 31st. Please check back periodically or contact the SCWriP Office at 4scwrip@education.ucsb.edu for futher information.
