This 5-day course is designed for K-College teachers who wish to learn more about and implement what the last 30 years in research on effective writing instruction indicates about best practice.
Redwood Writing Project teachers believe that students learn to write in a supportive environment while writing for real purposes to real audiences. During the Young Writers Academy, participants will explore a variety of styles, become more confident as writers, and improve their own writing by examining the work of other writers.
