Stronger Together: State and Regional Networks at Work
Groups of writing project sites in states or regions are looking to their shared context as they move toward the future. Many are seeing new opportunities for productive work in relation to state goals and state needs. Tune in to this episode of NWP Radio to hear how sites' leaders are connecting to each other as well as their state departments of education and other partners to accomplish mutually beneficial work on behalf of teachers and students. Engaging the Common Core Standards
Please share artifacts you've developed or used for building teacher capacity to engage with your state's implementation of the Common Core Standards. Site leaders and TCs may be especially interested in examples of handouts, schedules, budgets, etc. along with a few sentences of context. How do these artifacts fit into your site's or network's strategies? Use the blog tool to join the conversation.
Are you using digital tools to help network your state or region? Or are your digital literacy initiatives helping you to build capacity for state-level work? Tell others and share examples here.
Has your site found productive or promising relationships with your state's department of education? Please share your strategy, funding sources or other details of these partnerships.
