As we look ahead to November's Annual Meeting, I'm wondering whom from our local sites we should think about inviting to attend the Annual Meeting. Obviously, local resources are a factor in how many we send, but aside from that the decision for me has more to do with the perceived role of the Annual Meeting. Are we to think of it as functioning more like last year's meeting where the goal was primarily to reach some consensus on key values/principles and the relation among NWP national and local site, and, of course, to reaffirm our collective identity and resolve? Last year, we were encouraged to bring two to four site leaders who were already connected with national initiatives. Should we be thinking along similar lines? How are other sites planning?

At this point, two hotel rooms have been reserved for four of us, but we're still working out the financial details for the trip.
