Just ordered it ...
I read this book last year when work stress was at its maximum (my school was one of many in Boston informed that it will close the following year). At the time, it provided some ideas for creating a system to feel inspired throughout the day. I look forward to revisiting this book with fellow NWP folks.
What ideas did you use?
Perhaps this will be the crew to jump into a Google+ hangout as part of the discussion?
I am up for a hangout, Elyse. I just started the book yesterday and already have some ideas and reactions ....
Waiting for it...
Do you think games can really be useful in an educational setting? In what way?

Hi Elyse. I'm actually a big supporter of utilizing games in school. We need to figure out how to practically do it, and convince others that it isn't just "because its fun".
Yes, completely agree. That issue reminds me of folks who argue that we can introduce graphic novels into the classroom to help the 'struggling readers' -- under the assumption that the pictures make the text easier. Some graphic novels are so complex that they far exceed some text-only publications in complexity.
