I teach at a public girls' school in Austin, Texas. We are a Young Women's Leadership Academy. In our five years of existence I have seen young girls work confidently with girls from all parts of our city. I would love to hear from other NWP teachers who teach in a single sex setting. Teaching in a setting where girls are comfortable trying new things, speaking out about their beliefs and feeling part of a greater community has been a beautiful and rewarding experience.
