It's always interesting to me all the ways we can be connected. Here's an example that's not a direct connection of mine, but through my position here in the national office of NWP as "the web guy". Our executive director Sharon Washington's friend, Alison Sansone, CEO of BeThereBedtimeStories.com, wrote a blog post for Maria Shriver's site titled, Read Across American: Storytellers are Superheroes. It's a great post about the importance of storytelling and she credits not only reading, but of course writing too. So yes, the NWP, albeit via a brief shout-out, ends up on Maria Shriver's website. For me, that's an interesting connection. Whether or not you think so, check out the blog post; it's a great read and very appropriate for this day.
