New York State DOE Shares CC Resources Online

New York state, beneficiary of RTT funds for the Common Core, has developed a video series on implementing the Common Core featuring individuals such as the ubiquitous David Coleman. Check out their public materials, including a set of videos of Coleman's presentation on that day.

Sites in 3 states launch work with CCSS and LDC

Sites in the states of Colorado, Kentucky, and New York met in Park City, Utah in August to launch two years of work with NWP's Literacy Design Collaborative (LDC) project, an effort supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. These sites join colleague sites in Idaho, Massachusetts and California who worked with LDC during the 2010-2011 school year.

Interested in news and resources about Common Core? Then join the LDC Diigo group. Diigo is a 'social bookmarking' service that supports sharing links of interest to specific groups. LDC, the NWP project where several states are participating in the Literacy Design Collaborative, has formed a Diigo group for sharing links and anyone can join.

Hi Marla, Achieve is still the leading much of the PARCC work. Both PARCC and SBAC have lots of bids out for folks to work on tasks, etc. It may be ... read more
