A 1st grade teacher at my school noticed that the 4th grade teachers were diligently signing out the laptop cart from the computer lab at my school. She was intrigued. During some down time she came into the lab and asked about the cart’s availability.
I was skeptical, but I probed.
“I just think it would be fun to let them have some time on them.”

In the past month Apple has focused on education with the revitalizing of iTunes U and iBooks 2. iTunes U is a place where people can take certain courses developed by college professors or teachers. iBooks 2 has teamed up with the top three textbook publishing companies and created textbooks on the iPad.
