The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSS))has released guidelines for ELL students related to the CCSS English/language arts and mathematics standards, as well as the Next Generation Science Standards. The Framework is intended to provide guildance for states as they rewrite ELL proficiency standards with a focus on academic language and new contenxt areas.
